Ninuk is a curious, patient, and easygoing teacher who co-creates a relaxing environment for a beginner to learn. I really appreciate her presence and high spirit during our sessions. I feel I can talk about anything with her, and I am deepening my knowledge of the world while I am learning Indonesian (and having lots of fun along the way).

Ninuk is really good at making daily life activities into an interesting topic, that help you quickly feel related to new vocabulary. Today we had learn new words about washing dishes (cuci piring), habit of using utensils (sendok+garpu/sumpit), in Vietnam and in Indonesia.

I just completed my first Indonesian language class, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Ninuk was incredibly patient and made the learning process enjoyable. She provided rich content, starting with essential greetings and expanding into daily life vocabulary. I felt fully engaged and motivated throughout the class, and I appreciate how she created a welcoming atmosphere. I'm excited to continue my journey in learning Indonesian!

Today I booked an Indonesian class so I could tell Teacher Kevin a story about what happened to me recently in Bali, Indonesia. I was able to express myself in my second language with his assistance and he was so kind. He listened patiently and offered gentle corrections and suggestions. I think Teacher Kevin's teaching style is fantastic. He always adapts to my ever changing needs. Some days, I need a LOT of help and he's ready and waiting with language input and cultural suggestions as well. Thank you Teacher Kevin for helping me build my confidence. After the trial class and completed 3 private classes with Bu Ninuk so far, I really enjoy learning Bahasa with her. The explanation is clear, and I can read the conversation in the chat as we speak, so that I can follow and learn both writing and speaking. I am always given time to practise asking and answering questions in different scenarios. The notes in the chat right after the lesson also help me make my own notes and revise before next class. Each class passes so quickly without stress. I am looking forward to the next class.

Today I had my first Indonesian class with Parlin. As I am a complete beginner, Parlin gave me an introduction to the alphabet and its sounds. After that we learnt how to introduce ourselves and went over some useful expressions. I like how the class was well structured and easy to follow. I’m sure we will make fast progress together.
