Hi. I’m Roni.
I suppose this is the part where I tell you why I’m qualified.
I lived in the UK for eight years. I studied there, worked there, made friends there, and built a life there. I graduated from Newcastle University (Global Top 100). My IELTS score is Band 8.
So yes, I know English well.
But here’s something more important.
I know what it feels like to live inside a language that isn’t your first.
The hesitation before you speak.
The sentence you rehearse in your head.
The way confidence disappears mid-conversation.
And I also know what it feels like when the language stops feeling foreign.
When your default keyboard turns to English.
When your dreams shift languages.
When something surprises you, and your first reaction is no longer translated.
Small, ordinary moments.
That’s how a language sinks in.
A lot of English classes focus on correctness.
I focus on comfort.
If we’re going to talk about “real-life English,” then our lessons shouldn’t feel artificial. They should feel like actual conversations. Thoughtful, sometimes imperfect, sometimes quiet.
We’ll work seriously. We’ll improve steadily.
But more than anything, I want you to leave class feeling grounded, not judged.
That’s the kind of learning I believe in.
🗣️Conversation English
We talk.
About work.
About travel.
About things that annoy you.
About things you care about.
Real conversations, in real situations, like real people.
I’ll help you refine your phrasing, adjust your tone, and notice the small details that make English sound natural.
Step by step, your confidence builds. Not because you memorized more vocabulary, but because speaking starts to feel normal.

📝 IELTS Speaking
The IELTS speaking test isn’t really about difficult English.
It’s about thinking clearly, answering naturally, and staying calm while someone listens.
In this course, we practice the kinds of questions you’ll meet in the exam.
We work on building answers that feel structured but still sound like you, not memorized, not robotic.
Sometimes it’s about vocabulary.
Often it’s about clarity, rhythm, and confidence.
I scored an overall 8 on IELTS, and I’ll guide you through the small adjustments that can make a big difference on test day.

🎬English Through Film & Media
Language lives in stories.
In this course, we use short scenes, interviews, and scripts to explore how English carries meaning — the pauses, the subtext, the emotion behind simple lines.
You watch selected clips independently.
In class, we unpack them together.
Why did they say it like that?
What would you say instead?
How does tone change meaning?
My background is in film. I’ve worked on major productions, written award-winning screenplays, and directed short films. All in English. Storytelling has shaped how I understand language.
If you’re creative, reflective, or simply curious about how English works beneath the surface, this might be for you.
